To Trial or Not To Trial

Updated: Sep 17, 2019

Bridal trials are such an important part of booking your makeup artist! The purpose of a trial is to figure out what you want and don't want the day of your wedding. It is literally "trial and error." I always suggest doing your trial on a day where you have an event to go to. Whether it be your bridal shower, wedding, or any special occasion. That way you get a true wear test out of your trial and how it will last throughout the night, under different lighting as well. Trying to find what you type of look you want could be challenging. Depending on the amount of makeup you wear on a daily basis. It is always helpful to search on Google, Pinterest, Instagram for bridal makeup looks with women that have the same features as you to get an idea of what you like and don't like. A trial is the time to try out fake lashes, airbrush, eyeliner etc. You don't want to have the stress of worrying about your makeup on your wedding day. A trial is the stress free way to go, to ensure you are confident about the way you're going to look!
